I don't know about you guys but 2017 just flew right by!
As I was reflecting on this past year I realized such amazing things happened. I went full time in my business, I says YES to so many things, I travelled to so many places, I grew as a person and as a business, I partnered with one of my best friends in business and my blog grew too!
With so many amazing things that happened I also neglected a lot of things and of course one that keeps rearing its ugly head.. my health.
As an entrepreneur I don't have hours of operation. I was quit literally burning myself out with working so much. And as much I can sit here and go over all my justifications of why I didn't eat better or work out I know that the truth is if my body and health are not in line then everything that follows it will be also be half ass.
One of the things I decided to do for 2018 was to eat out less and cook more healthy food at home. For the people who know me I hate cooking. I literally feel like I am dying inside while I cook! On the other hand Andrew loves cooking and he's really good at it too.
I kept seeing ads for FRESH PREP and I knew I wanted to try it. WELL I am here to say that holy crap where has this been all my life!
We have had 3 meals so far with Fresh Prep and I am in love. All the food is nicely chopped up and portioned controlled ready to cook. All the hard stuff is done for you and you can still feel like a chef! For me I always cook way to much and over eat. With FP you have all your food portioned controlled and all the ingredients there for you ready to go! The food is delivered to your doorstep in a reusable cooler bag too!
This is a great alternative to dining out as meals can be little as $9 per person. It also is great because I get to cook with Andrew too so date night in is the best!
If you have any questions about Fresh Prep send me a message! If you wanted to try it out here is a code for you all! Use ALLYFRESH17 at checkout to save some moola!
Stay tuned for more delicious photos of our meals we have been getting and soon we will be sharing a video too!!!
Today on the Blog I wanted to switch it up a little and talk about a new subscription box that is coming in a few weeks called Sip&Savor!
Now I don't want to go in to too much detail because in the next few months I am going to be sharing lots about this awesome company and want y'all to follow along!!!!
As you know myself and pretty much everyone who is cool drinks wine. In fact one of my really great friends always has a bottle ready to go whenever we hang out. Okay more than 1 friend of mine does this!
Anyway, while I was scrolling through Facebook one day my eyes got the attention of a page and when I went to this said page ( with wine in hand) meant to be i know! I read this caption
“ Canada’s Newest Wine Club”
...and best believe that caught my attention.
Introducing probably one of the best things I have seen come out in a long time!
Canada's first wine by the glass! and not just any glass! A special engineered glass thats bigger than your average wine by the glass glasses say that ten times! This is the worlds first 200ml wine tube and I'm pumped to be apart of this journey!!!
I dont know about you, but for me? this was music to my ears, a light shawn down from above! Finally i didn't have to waste any more bottles of wine - especially those night where I only wanted one glass.
Even better is that you can try premium wines from all over the globe, they are specially curated and sent right to your door? I mean common people!!! If you find a wine you really love after sampling this amazing goodness then you can order the bottle and receive up to 25% off!
Each month you will receive three new wines featured from a different country that are not sold anywhere else in Canada! If that doesn't say exclusive I don't know what does! You can look forward to date nights, girls nights, guy nights and family nights and be the coolest cat in town ( do people even say that anymore!)
You have no contracts so you can cancel at any time but seriously why would you? This is the new way to wine people and I am excited to share more and more with you each month!
This month we had a girls night in, we did our nails had some wine and sampled wine fro various countries!
Wine by the glass never tasted so good and I hope you join me when these babies hit your doorstep so we can enjoy these wine together!!!
Check them out!!! Sip & Savor

The Boathouse Brews & Bites Event
Well, its official we will be launching our food potion of our blog! We are super excited and I am extra pumped because I love everything food and now I get to share my love of food with you!
In the next few weeks we will be adding some awesome content we have been saving for the past few months! We decided to kick off our first food blog with the Boathouse!
We were invited to The Boathouses " Brews, Bites & Bbq" event in New Westminster along with Granville Island Brewing. Executive Chef Mike Boshart whipped up some amazing dishes such as the Kobe Beef Sliders, Chipotle Prawn Skewers, Korean Short Rib and Grilled Andouille sausage.
There was also little bites such as the chocolate mouse, grilled fruit skewers, and buttermilk fried chicken and waffles! Those were my favourite!
We paired our delicious eats with Granville Island Brews such as the summer ale, the infamous IPA and some amazing raspberry ale!
It was beautiful being able to mingle with some awesome people and enjoy the gorgeous views of the water in New West while tasting some delicious food! We love The Boathouse since we had our reception right there at the Inn at the Quay ( The Boathouse catered our wedding) It was nice to hang out after and reminisce of our wedding while our tummies were full from all the good eats! Thank you again to The Boathouse for the invite! Enjoy some snaps of the night!
